This paper explores the mechanisms for enabling unlimited playback within the WeDJ ecosystem. WeDJ, a mobile DJ application developed by AlphaTheta (formerly Pioneer DJ), typically utilizes a freemium model where certain advanced features—including extended playback sessions and high-fidelity audio processing—are gated behind a "Pro" subscription or hardware unlocking. This research analyzes the integration of streaming services (such as Beatport Streaming and SoundCloud Go+) and hardware "Plug-and-Play" authentication as the primary legitimate methods for removing playback restrictions. 1.
