The developer, as revenge, buys Linh’s dorm building and evicts everyone. With no money and a little brother to feed, Linh is desperate. Duy, feeling guilty (or is he?), offers her the storage room above his workshop. The twist? His condition means they can never touch. He draws a literal chalk line down the middle of the room. "Cross this," he says in his first full sentence of the episode, "and the deal is off." The tension is palpable. They are living together, yet an ocean apart.
