The film follows Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson), a former FBI agent and former head of security for the tallest building in the world, the Skyscraper. When the building is set on fire and Sawyer's family is trapped inside, he must use his skills to rescue them and uncover the truth behind the fire.
