Khilona Bana Khalnayak (1995) is the Hindi dubbed version of the cult classic Marathi horror-comedy Zapatlela . Directed by Mahesh Kothare , the film stars Laxmikant Berde in one of his most iconic roles as Lakshya.
The story follows , a dreaded gangster who uses a secret mantra from a mystic to transfer his soul into a nearby object upon his death. After being killed by Inspector Mahesh, Tatya's soul enters a doll. This doll is eventually gifted to Lakshya , a simple ventriloquist who soon realizes the toy is alive and behind a series of murders in his village.
